BCS Practitioner Certificate in Requirements Engineering

Purpose: 

This intensive three-day course develops the skills needed to work with requirements for stakeholders to ensure that requirements satisfy various perspectives and that conflicts are negotiated to a position of consensus.

Delegates will learn how to work with stakeholders and other requirements actors to ensure the requirements are complete, unambiguous, realistic and testable.

Suitable for: 

There are no specific pre-requisites for this course, however this course is for those wishing to acquire the skill set required for establishing system requirements and those wishing to attain the BCS Business Systems Development Certificate in Requirements Engineering.

Candidates with special exam requirements should consult the BCS web site (www.bcs.org.uk) for the BCS Special Needs policy. Note that the BCS must be advised (through us) at least four weeks in advance of any special requirements.

Those delegates taking the BCS certificate will need to spend 60-90 minutes each evening on revision and example examination questions.

Please note: If taking an exam, candidates are advised that Photo ID must provided (Driving Licence, Passport and named work ID badges are all acceptable). This a BCS requirement and delegates will be turned away from the examination if Photo ID is not produced.
