This three day programme trains participants on how to manage People effectively. People Management is of huge importance in ensuring their organisations remain sustainable and profitable.

There is a huge body of research to indicate the when people are managed properly they are more motivated and content in the roles and develop and learn at a faster rate than individuals who are not managed effectively.

Module 1

  • Outline in detail systematic and reliable methods of Recruiting & Interviewing.
  • Address all compliance issues pertaining to interviewees and new appointees.
  • Advise in detail on how to implement appropriate staff induction.
  • Outline in detail employers’ responsibility with regard to Contracts of Employment.
  • Outline the importance of Job Descriptions and Person

Module 2

  • Facilitate the development of SMART Objectives from an organisational and individual perspective.
  • Outline the component aspects of effective Performance Management.
  • Equip participants with the skills and behaviors needed to carry out effective. Performance Appraisals and Performance Improvement plans.
  • Learn to Motivate & manage the team proactively through effective communication processes and two way feedback mechanisms.

Module 3

  • Outline the leadership qualities necessary in effectively managing and motivating people.
  • Differentiate between management and leadership skills in terms of effectiveness.
  • Equip participants with team building and conflict handling skills to assist in managing same in the workplace.
