PPO (Project Portfolio Office) Introduction

In-house only
Dublin
1 Day
Purpose:

The Trigraph Project Portfolio Office (PPO) Essentials Workshop is a 1-day intensive practical course designed to provide delegates with the ability to use PPO Project Management tools productively when managing and controlling their portfolios, programmes and projects.

The course begins from first principles and proceeds to a point where delegates can enter and manage their own projects, update the plans as the project proceeds, and tailor the application to produce required views and reports.

Suitable for:

This course is suitable for those people who want to understand the basics of PPO project management software. The course is aimed at both new and existing team leaders, project leaders, project managers and at all those who have to create and/or understand projects and report on them. The course is recommended for those involved in the lifecycle of Project Management.

What’s good about the course? :

Learn by doing – in additional to the formal presentations from Trigraph, attendees will benefit by using the PPO software itself on their own dedicated PC / Laptop. They will build their own project lifecycle by setting up resources, tasks, dependencies, schedules, costs, milestones etc and generating reports such as Critical Paths.

All of our trainers are seasoned mature project management professionals who are educated to 3rd / 4th level and who have formal project management qualifications such as PRINCE2®, PMI and/or Lean Six Sigma. They are also experienced course presenters.

The training materials are fully owned by Trigraph as a key exclusive services partner with PPO which means we have full flexibility to tailor the content to suit particular client requirements.

On completion of this course, delegates will be able to:

·   Understand the various menus and views of the PPO software.

·   Create a new project

·   Upload MS project plans

·   Link tasks to create a schedule

·   Allocate resource to tasks
