Background
In 2018 Trigraph were approached by a Global Pharmaceutical Company who were looking to invest in their teams to identify and resolve inefficiencies and opportunities for improved processes in house.
Trigraph specialists have collaborated with this leading global pharmaceutical organisation to deliver comprehensive operational excellence programs over the past 6 years. These programs have been implemented across the company’s teams in Dublin and throughout Europe.
The Challenge
The Pharmaceutical organisation wanted to find ways to improve operational efficiency but also needed to be sure that the investment that learning translated into tangible business outcomes. The challenge was to create a training program that would drive real-world improvements and give measurable financial benefits.
Trigraph’s Approach
What sets this initiative apart is its emphasis on practical application. Participants of the program are required to implement an improvement project following their formal training. To support this, Trigraph provides weekly one-on-one project coaching sessions with one of their Master Black Belts. This hands-on approach ensures that participants can apply their new skills directly to their work, driving immediate improvements.
Results
Every program delivered by Trigraph has resulted in quantifiable savings and benefits for the business. Over the past few years, senior management has endorsed the program’s success, recognising savings amounting to several million euros.
A key highlight of the initiative is the “Celebration of Success” event held at the conclusion of each program. During this event, participants present their projects and the resulting business impact to senior management, showcasing the value of their work and the effectiveness of the program.
Conclusion
This initiative shows how Trigraph can work with individuals at all levels within an organisation to achieve excellence and deliver substantial business benefits. The partnership between Trigraph and the pharmaceutical organisation has not only improved operational performance but has also fostered a culture of continuous improvement, driving long-term success.
